Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Post-dated Cheque by Atul Dodiya was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 127.50 (€ 147.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 100.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Atul Dodiya achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Three Painters in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 541,000.00 (€ 380,476.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Post-dated Cheque von Atul Dodiya kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 127,50 (€ 147,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 100,00 – 200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Atul Dodiya erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Three Painters im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 541.000,00 (€ 380.476,83).
