Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wall Street Charging Bull by Arturo di Modica was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 250,000.00 – 350,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 275,000.00 (€ 244,923.41) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Arturo di Modica have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2018 the work Charging Bull was auctioned for GBP 309,000.00 (€ 348,456.67).
