Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Charging Bull by Arturo di Modica was sold in the Contemporary Art Online | New York auction at Sothebys in New York in July 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 126,000.00 (€ 106,203.64). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arturo di Modica - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Charging Bull, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 309,000.00 (€ 348,456.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Charging Bull von Arturo di Modica wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 126.000,00 (€ 106.203,64) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Arturo di Modica mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Charging Bull beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 309.000,00 (€ 348.456,67) versteigert wurde.
