Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2011 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Forest Unknown #3 by Andy Dewantoro. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,772.89). Other works by Andy Dewantoro have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 9,776.67) in April 2011 for the work Infinite Sadness.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2011 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Forest Unknown #3 von Andy Dewantoro zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 7.772,89) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Andy Dewantoro haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 9.776,67) im April 2011 für die Arbeit Infinite Sadness beobachtet.
