Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Way To There by Andy Dewantoro was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2014. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,177.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Andy Dewantoro have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2011 the work Infinite Sadness was auctioned for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 9,776.67).
