Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Beyond the Sunrise by Andy Dewantoro for HKD 47,500.00 (€ 4,948.24). This price was achieved in the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Andy Dewantoro have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2011 by the work Infinite Sadness at HKD 112,500.00 (€ 9,776.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Beyond the Sunrise von Andy Dewantoro für HKD 47.500,00 (€ 4.948,24) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Andy Dewantoro wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im April 2011 die Arbeit Infinite Sadness mit HKD 112.500,00 (€ 9.776,67).
