Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Forest Unknown #4 by Andy Dewantoro was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,089.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Andy Dewantoro have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2011 the work Infinite Sadness was auctioned for HKD 112,500.00 (€ 9,776.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Forest Unknown #4 von Andy Dewantoro kam im April 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.089,84) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Andy Dewantoro konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2011 die Arbeit Infinite Sadness für HKD 112.500,00 (€ 9.776,67) versteigert.
