Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Merrion by Albert Irvin. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 765.00 (€ 849.47). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Irvin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study For Homerton in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,734.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Merrion von Albert Irvin zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 765,00 (€ 849,47) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Irvin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Study For Homerton im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.000,00 (€ 26.734,16).
