The work Magdalen by Albert Irvin was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in London in September 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 892.50 (€ 1,038.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Irvin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study For Homerton in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,734.16).

Die Arbeit Magdalen von Albert Irvin wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 892,50 (€ 1.038,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Irvin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Study For Homerton im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.000,00 (€ 26.734,16).
