The work Bloomsbury (unframed) by Albert Irvin was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. It achieved a price of GBP 15,360.00 (€ 17,798.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 54%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Albert Irvin; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Study For Homerton sold at auction in July 2007 with the realized price of GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,734.16).

Die Arbeit Bloomsbury (unframed) von Albert Irvin wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 15.360,00 (€ 17.798,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 54%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Albert Irvin; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Study For Homerton im Juli 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 18.000,00 (€ 26.734,16).
