Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Irvin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study For Homerton in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,734.16).

Die Arbeit Plates III; IV; VI, from 'Louise' von Albert Irvin kam im April 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.173,30) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Irvin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Study For Homerton im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.000,00 (€ 26.734,16).
