Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Borough I; Borough II by Albert Irvin was auctioned at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in September this year. The price achieved of GBP 576.00 (€ 576.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Irvin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study For Homerton in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,734.16).
