In February 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British. Cool., which included the work Lancaster II, 1992 by Albert Irvin. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,562.50 (€ 11,028.54), 59% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Irvin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Study For Homerton, which sold at auction in July 2007 for GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,734.16).

Im Februar 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British. Cool. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lancaster II, 1992 von Albert Irvin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.562,50 (€ 11.028,54) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Irvin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Study For Homerton beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für GBP 18.000,00 (€ 26.734,16) versteigert wurde.
