Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Albert Irvin could be acquired at Bonhams in London in October 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Deptford I changed hands for GBP 382.50 (€ 424.73) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Irvin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study For Homerton in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,734.16).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Albert Irvin konnte im Oktober 2020 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints and Multiples wechselte die Arbeit Deptford I für GBP 382,50 (€ 424,73) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Irvin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Study For Homerton im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.000,00 (€ 26.734,16).
