Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Adrian Piper achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in April 2021. In the Editions & Works on Paper auction, the work Forget It sold for USD 2,016.00 (€ 1,675.81) - well above the upper estimate of USD 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adrian Piper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Decide Who You Are #22: Field Work in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 110,394.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Adrian Piper erzielte im April 2021 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper wurde die Arbeit Forget It für USD 2.016,00 (€ 1.675,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adrian Piper erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Decide Who You Are #22: Field Work im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 110.394,77).
