In May 2006 Christies in New York held the auction Post War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session, which included the work Fight Or Die by Adrian Piper. The auction ended at the price of USD 9,000.00 (€ 7,013.17), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adrian Piper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Decide Who You Are #22: Field Work in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 110,394.77).

Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fight Or Die von Adrian Piper zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 9.000,00 (€ 7.013,17) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adrian Piper erzielen.
