Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Young Boy on Bed) by Zwelethu Mthethwa was auctioned at Phillips in New York in June 2007. The price achieved of USD 960.00 (€ 710.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zwelethu Mthethwa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled from Sugar Cane Series in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 22,233.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Young Boy on Bed) von Zwelethu Mthethwa kam im Juni 2007 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 960,00 (€ 710,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden.
