Auction result well in line with expectations
The work I. Big City - Chrysanthemum Resists The Frost; Ii. Big City - Bamboo Proclaims Harmony by Zhao Bo was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,861.54) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Bo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frozen Planet No. 2 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 108,000.00 (€ 110,289.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit I. Big City - Chrysanthemum Resists The Frost; Ii. Big City - Bamboo Proclaims Harmony von Zhao Bo kam im September 2012 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.861,54) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhao Bo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frozen Planet No. 2 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 108.000,00 (€ 110.289,13).
