Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Christies in New York held the auction Asian Contemporary Art Online: featuring the Chaney Family Collection, which included the work New Cellphone by Zhao Bo. The price achieved of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,151.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Bo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frozen Planet No. 2 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 108,000.00 (€ 110,289.13).
