A top price for Zhao Bo - as previously expected
In April this year POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Frozen Planet No. 2 by Zhao Bo. The price achieved of HKD 108,000.00 (€ 110,289.13) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 70,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Frozen Planet No. 2 is the most expensive artwork by Zhao Bo that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April diesen Jahres führte POLY in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Frozen Planet No. 2 von Zhao Bo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 108.000,00 (€ 110.289,13) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 70.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Frozen Planet No. 2 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Zhao Bo, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
