Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Three Prints (T.M.C.F. 123; 136; One Not In T.M.C.F.) by Yozo Hamaguchi for USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,366.98). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yozo Hamaguchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roofs of Paris (M. Gallery 42) in May 2002 with an auction result of USD 33,460.00 (€ 35,828.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Three Prints (T.M.C.F. 123; 136; One Not In T.M.C.F.) von Yozo Hamaguchi für USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.366,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yozo Hamaguchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roofs of Paris (M. Gallery 42) im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 33.460,00 (€ 35.828,25).
