A top price for Yozo Hamaguchi
In May 2002 Christies in New York held the auction Nineteenth and Twentieth Century Prints, which included the work Roofs of Paris (M. Gallery 42) by Yozo Hamaguchi. The »bidding war« ended at USD 33,460.00 (€ 35,828.25), 52% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Roofs of Paris (M. Gallery 42) the most expensive artwork by Yozo Hamaguchi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2002 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Nineteenth and Twentieth Century Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Roofs of Paris (M. Gallery 42) von Yozo Hamaguchi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 33.460,00 (€ 35.828,25) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Roofs of Paris (M.
