In December 2016 Grisebach held the auction Herbstauktionen 2016 - Third Floor, which included the work „Lemon and Cherries “. by Yozo Hamaguchi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 687.00 72% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yozo Hamaguchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roofs of Paris (M. Gallery 42) in May 2002 with an auction result of USD 33,460.00 (€ 35,828.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 72 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2016 führte Grisebach die Auktion Herbstauktionen 2016 - Third Floor durch, in der auch die Arbeit „Lemon and Cherries “. von Yozo Hamaguchi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 687,00 und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yozo Hamaguchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roofs of Paris (M. Gallery 42) im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 33.460,00 (€ 35.828,25).
