Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Empty Picture by Wyatt Kahn was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November 2021. The price achieved of USD 12,600.00 (€ 11,163.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wyatt Kahn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sideways in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 122,500.00 (€ 156,414.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Empty Picture von Wyatt Kahn kam im November 2021 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.600,00 (€ 11.163,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wyatt Kahn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sideways im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 122.500,00 (€ 156.414,80).
