Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Timber by Wyatt Kahn was auctioned at Phillips in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,885.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wyatt Kahn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sideways in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 122,500.00 (€ 156,414.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Timber von Wyatt Kahn kam im Juli 2020 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 27.885,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wyatt Kahn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sideways im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 122.500,00 (€ 156.414,80).
