Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Peeper by Wyatt Kahn was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in March last year. The price achieved of USD 21,420.00 (€ 19,309.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wyatt Kahn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sideways in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 122,500.00 (€ 156,414.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Peeper von Wyatt Kahn wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 21.420,00 (€ 19.309,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wyatt Kahn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sideways im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 122.500,00 (€ 156.414,80).
