The work Coti/Cosi by Wyatt Kahn was sold in the Contemporary Discoveries auction at Sothebys in New York in March last year. It achieved a price of USD 27,720.00 (€ 24,988.73), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Admittedly, works by Wyatt Kahn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sideways in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 122,500.00 (€ 156,414.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Coti/Cosi von Wyatt Kahn wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Discoveries bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 27.720,00 (€ 24.988,73) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wyatt Kahn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sideways im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 122.500,00 (€ 156.414,80).
