This work without title by Wilhelm Sasnal was sold in the Contemporary Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2021. It achieved a price of USD 60,480.00 (€ 53,583.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Admittedly, works by Wilhelm Sasnal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Airplanes in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 396,000.00 (€ 294,358.14).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wilhelm Sasnal wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 60.480,00 (€ 53.583,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wilhelm Sasnal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Airplanes im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 396.000,00 (€ 294.358,14).
