Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March last year Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Contemporary Day Auction, which included this untitled work by Wilhelm Sasnal. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 35,280.00 (€ 41,828.41). Admittedly, works by Wilhelm Sasnal have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Airplanes in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 396,000.00 (€ 294,358.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Day Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wilhelm Sasnal zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 35.280,00 (€ 41.828,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wilhelm Sasnal auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Airplanes im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 396.000,00 (€ 294.358,14).
