This work without title by Wilhelm Sasnal was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May this year. It achieved a price of USD 82,550.00 (€ 77,482.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 65%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wilhelm Sasnal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Airplanes, which sold at auction in May 2007 for USD 396,000.00 (€ 294,358.14).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Wilhelm Sasnal kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 82.550,00 (€ 77.482,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 65%. Für andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Sasnal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Airplanes beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für USD 396.000,00 (€ 294.358,14) versteigert wurde.
