In June 2007 Phillips in New York held the auction Saturday@Phillips, which included the work Sculpture by Vasa Velizar Mihich. The result of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,218.93) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vasa Velizar Mihich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Four-Column Cluster, which sold at auction in July 2008 for USD 8,750.00 (€ 5,612.93).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2007 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Saturday@Phillips durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sculpture von Vasa Velizar Mihich zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.218,93) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Vasa Velizar Mihich mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Four-Column Cluster beobachtet, die im Juli 2008 für USD 8.750,00 (€ 5.612,93) versteigert wurde.
