Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Untitled, 2004 by Vasa Velizar Mihich was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 637.50 (€ 563.26). Admittedly, works by Vasa Velizar Mihich have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Four-Column Cluster in July 2008 with an auction result of USD 8,750.00 (€ 5,612.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Untitled, 2004 von Vasa Velizar Mihich im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 637,50 (€ 563,26) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vasa Velizar Mihich auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Four-Column Cluster im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 5.612,93).
