Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Meditation by Varujan Boghosian. It changed hands for a price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,478.45) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Varujan Boghosian have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2010 the work Night was auctioned for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,336.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Meditation von Varujan Boghosian zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.478,45) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Varujan Boghosian konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2010 die Arbeit Night für USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.336,79) versteigert.
