Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work When Words End by Varujan Boghosian was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction at Bonhams in July this year. It achieved a price of USD 3,520.00 (€ 3,194.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Varujan Boghosian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Night, which sold at auction in April 2010 for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,336.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit When Words End von Varujan Boghosian wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.520,00 (€ 3.194,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Varujan Boghosian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Night beobachtet, die im April 2010 für USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.336,79) versteigert wurde.
