Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Varujan Boghosian was sold in the Interiors auction at Christies in New York in July 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,694.02) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Varujan Boghosian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Night in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,336.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Varujan Boghosian wurde im Juli 2013 in der Auktion Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.250,00 (€ 1.694,02) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Varujan Boghosian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Night im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.336,79).
