In September last year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction Prints & Photographs, which included this untitled work by Varujan Boghosian. The »bidding war« ended at USD 892.50 (€ 912.30), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Varujan Boghosian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Night in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,336.79).

Im September letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion Prints & Photographs durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Varujan Boghosian zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 892,50 (€ 912,30) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Varujan Boghosian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Night im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.336,79).
