This artwork by Varujan Boghosian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2013. In the Interiors auction, the work Penelope sold for USD 5,250.00 (€ 3,952.72) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Varujan Boghosian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Night, which sold at auction in April 2010 for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,336.79).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Varujan Boghosian erzielte im Juli 2013 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Interiors wurde die Arbeit Penelope für USD 5.250,00 (€ 3.952,72) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Varujan Boghosian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Night beobachtet, die im April 2010 für USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.336,79) versteigert wurde.
