A top price for Vadim Zakharov - as previously expected
The work Baroque by Vadim Zakharov was auctioned at Phillips in London in October 2008. The price achieved of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 78,071.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Baroque is the most expensive artwork by Vadim Zakharov that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Baroque von Vadim Zakharov kam im Oktober 2008 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 61.250,00 (€ 78.071,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Baroque das teuerste Kunstwerk von Vadim Zakharov, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
