Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Contemporary Sale, which included the work B-4 by Vadim Zakharov. The price achieved of GBP 23,300.00 (€ 29,270.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vadim Zakharov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Baroque, which sold at auction in October 2008 for GBP 61,250.00 (€ 78,071.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2008 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Contemporary Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit B-4 von Vadim Zakharov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.300,00 (€ 29.270,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Vadim Zakharov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Baroque beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für GBP 61.250,00 (€ 78.071,77) versteigert wurde.
