Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included this untitled work by Vadim Zakharov. The price achieved of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 38,162.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Vadim Zakharov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Baroque, which sold at auction in October 2008 for GBP 61,250.00 (€ 78,071.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Vadim Zakharov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 38.162,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Vadim Zakharov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Baroque beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für GBP 61.250,00 (€ 78.071,77) versteigert wurde.
