This artwork by Ursula von Rydingsvard achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in November 2012. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work Five Cones sold for USD 68,500.00 (€ 52,651.81) - well above the upper estimate of USD 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ursula von Rydingsvard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ona, which sold at auction in December 2020 for USD 200,000.00 (€ 163,532.30).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ursula von Rydingsvard erzielte im November 2012 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit Five Cones für USD 68.500,00 (€ 52.651,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ursula von Rydingsvard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ona beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für USD 200.000,00 (€ 163.532,30) versteigert wurde.
