In April 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work The Song Of The Saint by Ursula von Rydingsvard. The result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 16,058.58) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ursula von Rydingsvard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ona in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 163,532.30).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Song Of The Saint von Ursula von Rydingsvard zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 16.058,58) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ursula von Rydingsvard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ona im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 163.532,30).
