This artwork by Tony Rosenthal achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in September 2016. In the First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | NY auction, the work without title sold for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,786.08) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tony Rosenthal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in September 2017 for USD 35,000.00 (€ 29,628.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tony Rosenthal erzielte im September 2016 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | NY wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.786,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tony Rosenthal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im September 2017 für USD 35.000,00 (€ 29.628,38) versteigert wurde.
