In October 2015 Phillips in New York held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included this untitled work by Tara Donovan. The »bidding war« ended at USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,376.74), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Tara Donovan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Pins) in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 109,510.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tara Donovan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.376,74) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tara Donovan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Pins) im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 109.510,51).
