Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Paper Plates) by Tara Donovan was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,154.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tara Donovan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Pins) in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 109,510.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Paper Plates) von Tara Donovan kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.154,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tara Donovan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Pins) im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 109.510,51).
