This artwork by Tara Donovan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in May this year. In the Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work without title sold for USD 5,737.50 (€ 5,385.30) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tara Donovan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Pins) in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 109,510.51).

In der Auktion Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 5.737,50 (€ 5.385,30) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tara Donovan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Pins) im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 109.510,51).
