This artwork by Tara Donovan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in July 2019. In the Contemporary Art Online | New York auction, the work Untitled No. 1 sold for USD 32,500.00 (€ 29,200.36) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tara Donovan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Pins), which sold at auction in November 2013 for USD 149,000.00 (€ 109,510.51).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Tara Donovan erzielte im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York wurde die Arbeit Untitled No. 1 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 29.200,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tara Donovan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Pins) beobachtet, die im November 2013 für USD 149.000,00 (€ 109.510,51) versteigert wurde.
