Sold at the lower estimate price
In April 2013 Phillips in New York held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included this untitled work by Tara Donovan. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,518.83) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tara Donovan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Pins) in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 109,510.51).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2013 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Tara Donovan zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.518,83) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tara Donovan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Pins) im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 109.510,51).
