Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Reverbère by Takanori Oguiss was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in February 2014. The price achieved of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 42,463.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Takanori Oguiss - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, Paris, which sold at auction in November 2003 for USD 186,700.00 (€ 155,648.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le Reverbère von Takanori Oguiss wurde im Februar 2014 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 42.463,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Takanori Oguiss mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rue du Faubourg Saint-Martin, Paris beobachtet, die im November 2003 für USD 186.700,00 (€ 155.648,19) versteigert wurde.
