In March 2017 Christies in London held the auction Post War & Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Made on January 20th 2017 by Tacita Dean. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,832.66), 58% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Tacita Dean have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Wake in October 2012 with an auction result of GBP 133,250.00 (€ 165,673.00).

Im März 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Made on January 20th 2017 von Tacita Dean zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.832,66) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tacita Dean auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Wake im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 133.250,00 (€ 165.673,00).
